Authentic Chinese flavours in the heart of Liverpool
An independent kitchen inside Genting Casino
Er Pang 二胖 opened inside Genting Casino Liverpool in November, bringing a wide range of authentic Chinese flavours to the heart of the city centre – from Cantonese and Sichuan dishes to Dalian-style seafood, regional favourites and hot pot. It's reached via Benson Street and Genting Casino Reception, with no casino membership required.
Er Pang – 二胖 – means “Chubby Number Two,” a childhood nickname. Read why the name stayed.
Since opening, the restaurant has built a loyal following for its freshly cooked sharing dishes, seafood and late-night hours, and a dining room that only gets livelier as the evening goes on.
700+ guests, lion dancers, and a room in full celebration
Every Chinese New Year, Genting Casino Liverpool – home to Er Pang – puts on one of the city's most talked-about celebrations: a lion dance troupe, festive decorations throughout the venue, and a complimentary buffet that drew more than 700 guests through the doors during the most recent celebration.
Er Pang's kitchen is part of what makes the night – serving sharing dishes, seafood and hot pot to a room dressed head to toe in red and gold.
